Love Nazi

 

                                                I stood in line

                 waiting patiently

I followed your silly rules

your rituals

 

Keep your mouth shut tight

Do not mention how you feel

Do not put up a fight

Do not admit this is real

 

What I arrived at long last

I held out my heart

Please, may I have some love

I said meekly

 

Something in my demeanor

my tone of voice

something I wanted

my embarrassing need

 

You were offended

full of fear

Nothing was comprehended

Nothing was clear

 

Like on TV you snap at me

NO LOVE FOR YOU
