TremorsA Poem by Liz
Tremors rupture beneath my skin--- into a paralytic collision of Chaos. A shroud of Depression smothers the remaining sparks of light while Anxiety merely smirks as it swarms feverishly for another bite. Stripped raw and exposed pleading for a comatose state- abandoning shipwrecked dreams and a smoldering conscience ensnared by Fate. My personal carousel of free will and damnation barely teetering on its axis- tempted by the hollow murmur that foreshadows the numbing slumber of obliteration. Hear the bells toll the final farewell- the melancholy caress condemning me to this ultimate perversion of hell. Song: The Deep End-Crossfade © 2009 Liz |
