How to Become LostA Poem by cassandra violetIf you are not your heart Then you are not you And everything you know Will be lost. Your thoughts will not ponder The same, your name Will change as you Become someone different. Your heart is your blood, your veins As it is your essence, your soul So water its flowers and Let the petals grow. If you seek different Seeds then you’ll never see your bud listen and gleam dancing with the green of the grass. So take the time to walk in Your hearts garden, admiring The hues that are the mirrors of you And to them be forever true. Because once they are lost They fall to the ground in ash, Picked up by the lonely wind So sway unsteadily in the vast. © 2010 cassandra violetReviews
