let it melt
like winter snow

did you know
she once adored you
though she didn't
tell you so

yes indeed she prized
you dearly
more than trees
more than flowers
more than falling crystal raindrops
as they fell in summer showers

more than rivers flowing freely
on meanders to the sea
or the bees that court
sweet lavender
in purple passion seams

yet those drifting mists
at daybreak that obscure what's
going on and the chattering
of treetops brought a different
kind of song

along came nature's warning
as the waking sky grew red
all that loving turned to anger
as the hour glass was fed

with unwelcome doubts
at sunrise
with the whispers on the wind
it's all over storm clouds rumbled
it's all over storm clouds said

I can't believe it! Not only I just reviewed your poem using "let it be" but also more than one word/thought here I used in my new poem (still unpublished working on it).
