I can't believe it! Not only I just reviewed your poem using "let it be" but also more than one word/thought here I used in my new poem (still unpublished working on it). Something to admire, something not to be read and wander through it, but to feel it to the core... something this Petal wishes to write like it. your tenderness, your heart, your power, your courage and strength, all radiate with sheer magnetic beauty. yes my dear, one day, one morning, the heart will wake to know what it deserves is joy and love not tormentment. Sublime.. .

My emotions run the full gambit from utter joy to misery and all that's is inbetween. It has always been that way. Thank you so much for this lovely review. Maybe we are on the same wave length at times:)

We have been in the same wave lengths before, and it seems today we are too 🌹🤍
Oh, how I love this piece. I reread it several times. I just loved, loved your genius use of metaphors, the imagery and visuals. Your take on writing nature never ceases to amaze, your words often feeling as big as the mountains and storm clouds themselves. This is genuinely so gorgeous and another one of my favorite’s from you. Another breathtaking poem! Wow. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful writing.

let it go

Chris, your deftly rhymed and worded story of love unrequited, flows like tears. Love comes, love changes, love goes and leaves devastation in its wake. Your dramatic imagery, inclusive of angry red skies, mists and storms set the stage so well. Nature is foreboding, prescient, through your pen. It is a story I know. You bring it to life. Great write my friend.

An hour glass full of doubts is an excellent idea. The troubled heart turns it again and again. And storms watch the clock for their moment. This poem, especially at the beginning, sings. I am puzzled by the title? I searched enfin but got nothing.

A beautiful piece Chris…. The heart should know that it is loved dearly…. More than you know….more than sweet lavender….but then the dark winds blew in and the chatter from above and tore your heat apart… but always remember that is was once loved…..
Best,
B.

I loved it along came nature's warning
as the waking sky grew red
all that loving turned to anger
as the hour glass was fed My own obsessions with the value of time trickle through my own work that was a great phrase

Nice words and lines of life as it comes to each of us, despite, that which we might wish, hope, or dream of and for, as it is that which it is, and nothing more for sure ...

Chris you made me think of the famous song "Let It Be" and many joyous memories of mine were reviewed.
Your use of nature's significant symbols are fascinating.
Thanks for sharing it.
