An Update on Jacob - a non poem

Just to let you all know I have heard from Jacob again this morning and he is happy for me to advise you :

The recent visit by his nurse went well and she is very pleased with his progress. The numbness in his fingers is improving and he is in good spirits taking a day at a time. He is touched and heart warmed by all the good wishes of the poets here on WC.

Well, I've read this man's poetry for a number of years since he emerged at the cafe and I'm just wondering how he got away without having more visits before now... ? That, I will never understand~...lol.
Ah well, I have no doubt our own personal "William Stafford" and Master of the Court will soon be rattling the keys! Thank you for the update, Chris..it's wonderful to hear~

Home visits from a nurse eh? A more cynical person may be seeing this as a cunning plan on Jacobs part, but not I.
I must ask him how you get home visits from a nurse, so I can write it down as an "in case of emergency" action plan

to have major surgery before you get a home visit from a nurse. Have no idea as yet when J will be back with us. I know he is still writing a bit of poetry though.
