PermanentA Poem by cat13I seem to flutter about like a butterfly and never stick at much. I'm still searching - I'd just like to be there - where ever there is.Permanent
Who am I? Where am I? What should I be? I'm still searching, I'm still searching I just want to be me.
I wish to be free of this yearning, this burning inside This feeling so consuming that I can't seem to hide.
I can't hide my unhappiness, my discontent my inability to fit into my life.
I've been playing a part A part I've built since a child To protect and to hide me To help me survive
Instead of surviving now though I'm fading away I've lost who I was and Ive no idea what to say.
So I say nothing and get on with my day.
But maybe, just maybe, I'll find me one day.
