Obedience

Obedience

A Poem by Cat

A perfume so wet and sticky
After sitting in the sun
She bakes and waits for you
Claiming "this is fun."

A watered down lemonade
Perched upon her hip,
She keeps it there so close
So she can touch your lip.

You give her what she wanted
Kissing her floppy hat,
But you never gave her love,
Or even a home to stay at.

-- what a riveting read... and the closing is so powerfully crushing... -- amazing poetry...

One thousand poems must be waiting to be revealed from the nine lives you have lived.
I think you will be composing raw and real poetry for many seasons. Nicely written, dear poet.

ooh I like it. feeling a slash on female/male relationships, with a hint of being rich, commercialized. cool!
