unnoticed

like a shroud,

i cover myself up,

afraid to to show how i really feel,

if i were to expose how i feel,

i might end up in the front page of the school news paper,

"the girl who shows her feelings",

so i stand in the background of life,

uncaring,

unaware of what happens around me.
