In the wee morning hours
As I wake from my deep sleep,
My eyes bestows what towers
My angel who slumbers deep
I look at him in comfort
All my fears taken hold,
For my sleepy eyes cannot contort
What there is yet to unfold
Does he know he fills my yearning
With his smile, his eyes, his touch?
All emotions that were turning,
That overbore me oh so much
As my hands reach out and creep
To hold the man who gives such love,
Who reaches in within so deep
And lulls me to reach far and above
To the highest peak of fulfillment
The joy and ecstasy,
That allows me to reach out and vent
The love that was dormant within me
All of the riches and the sweetness
That was once buried within me,
Is no longer my only weakness
But my strength, my honesty
May I be the one who shows him
The specialness that he may be,
And give him no more reason
No denies, never lonely
Be his love in all my weakness
And be his though out his time,
To give each other completeness
Leave the emptiness behind
I look at him in comfort
All my fears taken hold,
For my sleepy eyes cannot contort
What there is yet to unfold
Does he know he fills my yearning
With his smile, his eyes, his touch?
All emotions that were turning,
That overbore me oh so much
As my hands reach out and creep
To hold the man who gives such love,
Who reaches in within so deep
And lulls me to reach far and above
To the highest peak of fulfillment
The joy and ecstasy,
That allows me to reach out and vent
The love that was dormant within me
All of the riches and the sweetness
That was once buried within me,
Is no longer my only weakness
But my strength, my honesty
May I be the one who shows him
The specialness that he may be,
And give him no more reason
No denies, never lonely
Be his love in all my weakness
And be his though out his time,
To give each other completeness
Leave the emptiness behind
