Mirroring oneself can reflect your true self.

 

 

Hey you,  the same one in  reflection

Who looks at me , with such a connection

You’re never too busy, too  far away

You always listen to what I have to say

 

I am admiring you more intensely

Damn girl, so within, so immensely

Why have you not really looked and seen

That with you-  there are no betweens

 

Strong and mighty is your inner being

Liking you more , all that I am seeing

You are my likeness, my soul, my voice

No other If I had a choice

 

I am the one who has a strong vision

Fierce and hard no kind of collision

You  give  abundantly,  give it your all

For you are the one I see on my wall

 

In that mirror, looking back at me

Love you,  be with me, always we

This is a sonnet's own likeness: a reflection of days passed, that did not pass because
the poet's eyes and heart were open to what he already knew, but had to know at this moment instead
to be certain the everything in between did or did not sing with it, the sonnet, which is he, or she, who is you,
and the reflection, to be certain, the mirrorshines the words through, pulled out by an unsuspecting heart;
(how will she feel when you say "damn girl", and "love you")

Melt, like I am, from poetry that gets to me, like this, a song sang by a bird which held more wisdom in a day in one flight than a man holds in his lifetime and regrets to know he knew too late-
but not you, as the likeness of you is she, your reflection,
time to be "we"

That's a great write for sure.It suggests reader about the idea that you really like what you are.People should learn to appreciate themselves and stop comparing to others.They're great just the way they are.
The reflection in the mirror is a great way of learning this. Taking it as another person, you really come to know who you are. And once you're aware opf that, you admire yourself.
