Sweetness

 

In the depth of time I waited to once again feel

A sweetness from within me, oh so real

To share with a special man who is filled with such love

Heaven did hear my tears flow from up above

 

I knew as I heard your voice, and knew you as he

The one who could ride my churning sea

Your voyage to me is a blessing I know

For within myself,  I told myself so

 

May I  return all the sweetness ten times fold

To you my love whom I can gently hold

The one who played gently upon my hair

Who let me release my solitude and all my despair

 

You are special my love, know this within you

As sweet as the beads of the early morning dew
