I realize now that this feeling was the same I had when I met Sam, the man my mother is currently divorcing a.k.a. dad number 6. I had thought nothing of it, assuming that it was natural to recognize my birth father. Seeing as though that is not true… this feeling must mean something more profound than I had originally thought.
