Moving close to you

reaching out my left hand

placing it gently on your waist

other hand softly takes yours

pressing our palms together

smiling down at you

we gently begin to move

and sway
I pull you close

your head on my chest

and we dance

step... step... sway

step... step... sway

kissing your head softly

step... step... sway

we make our own music

I feel your warm fingers

clasped in my hand

my hand slips further

drifting down your back

pulling you into me tight
you hear my heartbeat

as your cheek rests

on my chest

and we step… step… sway

we make our own music

our feet shuffle softly

across the floor

swaying… swaying

heartbeats dancing

with each step

we make our own music

swaying slower now

barely moving

leaning in

mouth hovering

over your ear

breathing softly

motionless

hearts

dancing still.
