A story laced in starlit thread

A story laced in starlit thread

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

The illuminations

"

*

Star

Severed

Torn in two

The illuminations

Now housed in flesh

Wandering over endless ages

One aroused as a dark dragon’s whisper

The other an awakening woman with woven wings

And both endlessly seeking the other’s light

Both needing to find their way home

In timeless echoes their radiance

Now hunts halcyon days

Lilting movements

Lissome sighs

Converging

Fusing

Star

Thank you so much for your comments and for stopping by. May your weekend be deeply inspired.
Of stardust we are made, our unity sundered...to stardust we return, once again whole. Starlight housed in flesh is simply a stunning and very innovative allusion. Use use evocative, gorgeous words, and I LOVE words!

Thank you so much for your lifting words, dear poet. This is as much autobiography as poetry, though.. read more

I like how you wrap up the words, like gifts, and make them shine. A sensual piece, really nicely crafted, especially the structure. Smooth in the beginning, restless by the end.

Thank you :) I do actually have a weekend this time-days off (work)
I have always enjoyed how you weave fantasy with the human condition, this seems a tale of two cities merging starlit.
