Like amber fire...

Like amber fire...

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

You are all I see, my love...

"

Scarlet streaks race in sapphire skies

And all I see are your stunning eyes…

Ashen clouds scatter rain on this space

In this crystal world I see only your face…

Wind rhymes and rifts on worlds within

But all I caress is your soft skin…

The day begins with fierce flame in the skies

Like amber fire, you are my sunrise...

like amber fire
an owl on the moon,
This piece reminded of the intricacy with human design.
first line' "scarlet streaks race in sapphire skies
and all I see are your stunning eyes."
The importance of connection and friendship is so lovely!

"Ashen clouds scatter rain on this space,
In this crystal world I see only your face."
Again I see the reward in caring and love.
Love the last line:
"Like amber fire, your are my sunrise....
The whole body of writing was inspiring!
Blessings to you and your life.
Kathy

I love the way you express your love through your mind and your eyes like explaining a sound to a deaf person so descriptive and i can feel each emotion as you say each word.
Like a sound you listen to and relax with eyes closed well done x

You words come to life in this one and paint a picture. You are very talented. This is so sweet.

You old romantic you :)

I love the drama of the images you portray and the word 'rift' that really got me. So hard to find new ways to describe things without going back to the same old cliches but 'rift' nice, nice!

Lovely words.

This is absolutely breathtaking! I adore this! This is really beautiful!
Do you mind if I include it as a quote in one of my books? As in, when authors take a section or a poem they love that relates to the story, and include it at the beginning of their book? I'll credit you, of course!

This was beautiful! The thought that your love for this one, outshined all that was around you. At the same time using the beauty of the sunrise and it's myriad of colors to express that adoration and joy that you feel for her.

Wonderful piece!

Ahhh, Craig, so nice to see a new write from you. This was so beautiful. And as always, you delivery with stunning visual images of color. So pretty! Such penetrating visions I imagine when reading this. And the title is quite lovely, too. ;) Nicely done my friend.
