Author's Note

My son, Andy, passed away just before August of this year from a reaction to two of his schizophrenia medications. I am still wondering why God chose him and not me.

Hi,
Emotions if you think are natural, if that emotion take life do you feel if person is wrong or emotion is wrong.

I am missing my son and my husband when the world says I am sick but my son and my husband doesn't say I am, it is his emotional heart. What it makes difference this world is one. To me relations are important and I do dare to keep them alive. A mother doesn't know what her daughter, throwing wrong words to others will definitely come back to you.

Yea I have not chosen any but my family and it includes my son and my husband. When someone doesn't care about family but a luxury trip then it definitely makes sense how people think that one is fine and literally throw other into death, if this analogy does think so then their mother has been thrown into pit of her husband who gave rise to daughter who is taking revenge on us both . It's pathetic if someone removed one and you say craving for family it entirely looks desirous of what?? A money can kill many but love stabilises family and never breaks it

Oh Craig , your words and emotions are so raw right now, of course you feel cold and numb its a natural reaction.
Whichever God you believe in has a reason for for taking one soul which leaves another bereft , maybe the stronger one to carry on for the two of them ?
So many questions, try to take each hour as it comes ,I am sure your son is around you, his warmth will come back in time ... you will feel it slowly.

Such a tragedy so simply expressed with something we can all understand, cold and warmth.
It is getting colder and colder here Craig and it already feels like summers warmth is a long way off, but still at least we have hope we shall feel summers kiss once more.

Sometimes there are no answers. Life can be so cruel. Losing a child a hellish pathway to navigate. I sincerely hope some warmth filters through to bring a little light into your dark world soon Craig. With all best wishes.

There are no easy words to express condolence.

My father's mother had that affliction, and I've seen it enough times to know that it's particularly cruel. We don't get to choose our tragedies, and it's equally as cruel that we must carry on in their wake.

I won't speak to winter, but it helps to seek out what warmth we can find - lest we forget that there was ever warmth to begin with.

Days dawn with time.
