Umbrella Man

Umbrella Man

A Poem by An owl on the moon

Rainy days caress the windows in silver...

Rainy days caress

the windows in silver

drizzled on the glass...

I want to curl up

and sleep in her mind

swim the deep water

of her dreams...

If the rain falls

like sad faces all around

then open me up

spread out my arms

I’ll cover her

and be her umbrella man

shade her from words

in the atmosphere

that descend like knives...

For now life painted wine red

dripping down my canopy

chocolate raindrops

mix with truffled kisses

confessions of forever...

Please let me swim

the deep water

of her dreams…

The big protector from all of the wet elements..Lose is expressed in so many ways to poets that seem odd to non writers..we use terms no one else would to express our feelings..you are a master of doing this..I enjoyed this very much..Kathie

"There are only four questions of value in life... What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for.. and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: O.. more..
