I AM PIECES

I AM PIECES

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

For anyone I have ever known…

"

I am pieces

Bits of this

splinters of that

Colored memories

And you are here

Inside me

A fragment of who I am

Not quite me

Without your piece

So many thoughts

Recollections

Faces

Pain

Pleasure

Glued together

They make me

They undo me

They stir me

Bits of tears

First kiss

graduations

Falling

Rising

joy

depression

life

Now please hand me that

piece over there

different acquaintances - different perspectives ! its strange how a person is based on how he is considered by his folks . everyone it seems has a piece of us .. depending on how close they are the sizes vary ..

you have certainly got an artistic bend of mind .. the picture is fabulous and gels together really well with the theme ! not to forget the different fonts used and the color scheme applied

A glimpse of the heart, a glimpse of the human nature. Seeing a part of something, a piece, a fragment yet still there's so much depth. That's my interpretation of the piece, and I find it simple yet comical at the end. Wonderful job and a beautiful piece.

so very true
we are pieces
linked invisibly
it is part of our universal understanding
that when you exhale
i inhale
we breathe the air of life
beautiful

"Hand you that piece over there"...to complete life's jigsaw. Very well 'put together' (don't pardon pun).. tee hee.

I loved this very much cos it's just so apt.

Thanks for sharing dear friend.

Sometimes hard to piece together his life in one piece ... Craig in this row have put everything into one piece of the good life ... beautiful artwork inspires thoughts when I read this piece ... Graphics ... very good work my friend :)

When we consider eons of genetic lineage plus the life-experiences that make us each what we are, one can't help but see that our pieces are countless. Like stars across the heavens or grains of sand upon a beach, we are the stuff of creation, mosaics sublime.

I enjoyed your words. They are always so well chosen and placed. It doesn't stop there. Your artistic touch in font styles and colors adds to the poem. Nicely done!

absolute genius - so simple yet very clever - we wouldn't be the person we are without the people we meet. fantastic, mildly humourous end two lines. (thank you for your review!)
