We do this because no one heard us scream the first time around

We do this because society says we’re wrong

We do this because maybe the past generation had it right

        But just didn’t know all we know now

We do this because it’s the only way for our beauty

      To be seen, heard, acknowledge

   By our world, our breed, the understanding
