my sexuality

my sexuality

A Poem by Tenten

My sexuality

I can’t deny it

It’s something that defines Me

Who I am

What I do

The person I’ll fall for in the end

It is

The day I won’t speak

The moment I hold hands in prayer

The second I carry your tears on my shoulder

                your fears

The night I hope you’re safe

The moonset worry sets in

The morning a face is the greatest relief

- - - - - - -- -  - - - - - - - - - - -

It’s

His lips

Her touch

Midnight taste

Sunrise break

It’s laughing in a crowd of men

…who won’t hit on me

Blushing in a group of women

Who will

It’s waking to strong hands or smooth legs

Who knows….

Maybe both

It’s not being ashamed of desire, lust, need

It’s knowing who you are

It is something that defines me

This part is insightful

It's laughing in a crowd of men
who won't hit on me

Blushing in a group of women
Who will

Ever stop to wonder what its like for those who are hardly noticed by the men or women because they aren't so beautiful?
