never spokeA Poem by Tenten
I have never spoken my hatred of you It swells in my belly, acid burning through me I accept your abuse, with little fight I runaway from your place to find Someone safe, somewhere to be You lie so bluntly, claim me non-existence Don’t embrace me, don’t make me the fool Your sacred words whispered into my ear So I paint my pain my sorrow my joy ‘You made me proud, you made me admired’ Look closely as you take credit For work that will never be yours Tell me exactly where do you see your face Because I know I kept this pleasure Far away form you and yours Ignorant behavior of me. © 2008 TentenAuthor's Note
