Today I'll Give

 

I’ll give words and lyrics today

They will be an apology for

My lack of creativity

They are moments of songs

That mean to us deeply

Memories, emotions, reminder

For the time we had together.

 

 

 

Today I’ll force the words out of me

 

 

They will be the medicine

 

To taking this dead feeling away

They are my testimonial of today’s pain

That transpires from the loss of love and touch

Shared between familiar faces

Those beautiful ones I called my pack.

 

 

 

Today I’ll describe images

 

 

They detail the world around

 

A new way of giving to love

They shall be the visual to emotion

Happy, sad, lust, love, comfort, pain

The dedication to being with you.
