progression from him

progression from him

A Poem by Tenten

I wanted to say good-bye our final farewell face to face. Acquiest to this request so there may be closure on both sides of this [once] believed eternity. I leave tonight.

Once you gave me writer’s high. You made me feel the writer’s flow, you made me feel beautiful. A circling of words and ink in mid-night park settings. Desperately,…wistfully…cruelly? . . I hold onto my … the memories of us back then, in that time. Hard to believe only months ago the high consumed my mind every second, minute, day, and night. Never ending words setting that could not be eternal, desperately grasping to ‘maybe’ was an imaginary setting.

I am sick and tired of waiting for you to catch up to me. So this is my good0bye written in self imposed anger. I’m exhausted by waiting for your next reply. So I am growing up and leaving you behind. Or catching up to you on a parallel road, a different path. You forgot me, so I’m letting you go. Good-bye my once upon a time. You know where to find me if you decide to rebuild this bridge again.
