The need to create a piece that speaks

Beyond myself and to other souls

Touching base to all that lies beneath the façade

Surface, mask, smile, worn ojos

For words to connect in another’s heart

Grasping a soul in tender hands saying ‘you are not alone’

Building love with mere words

The need to create that infamous illusive piece that speaks
