my Judas

my Judas

A Poem by Tenten

Most of us are going to die

With an uneventful life

Gasping for breath desperately

    in some indistinctive hospital bed

maybe

Peacefully at some over ripe age

    in a room always scorned

Suddenly in a dingy alley

    freezing for the next needle

that’s what he said up there

                on that state paid stage

actor playing deceiver

                smoothly…truthfully?

selling his soul for 30 sliver pieces

                bargaining, betraying a lovers life

don’t allow this use(less) life

     to become uneventful

ending in gasping breathe

     disgusted room, freezing next

let these words hit somewhere

      in a needing soul

never stopping the infection

     that is artistic flow

the spirit.
