My Daddy

My Daddy

A Poem by Tenten

My Daddy – My daddy

                Tell me

You wanna hear ‘bout my daddy

He ain’t big – He ain’t tall

Done know none of us ever will be

But he got a beer belly

An’ dark brown skin

Long black hair, hailed back high

My Daddy – My daddy

                Tell me

You wanna hear ‘bout my daddy

He laughs like a jackal – Smiles like a wolf

He’s a old man with a pre-teen sense of humor

Knows Lust, since her was 13

Met love, doesn’t spend much time

In that house enjoying passing time

My Daddy – My daddy

                Tell me

You ever gonna grow up  - Past age 14

You ever going to wake up before Death come knockin’

Will you ever tell the truth, - Say any truth

But I got some years, a little more time

For you to say something worth mind.

I like the preteen sense of humor. I relate to it to well. Very well written and sounds so true to life. Like is he real or just pulled this out your hat?
Good write!
