chasing night

chasing night

A Poem by Tenten

Chasing night as it speeds away

Running away from daylight rays

Fleeing to a place called home

Leaving a house that is home

Chasing night,

                the clouds, the stars

                     the midnight cool

Flee the morning:

                     the suns awaiting spark

                the warmth, the wake

Running after the moon

to avoid leaving the land of content

knowing the sun brings next day reality
