silent prayer

silent prayer

A Poem by Tenten

Grief stole me away

As you vanished into moon filled skies

With starless night brides

I whispered your name

In prayers to a never hearing God

You kept faith in

Now the incense dwindles to ash

And I pray Mother keeps your safe

In her gentle embrace

As she stills my sorrow
