Caught up in You

Caught up in You

A Poem by Tenten

Did I let my soul get caught up in you

To forget the true self of a little girl

          of a woman

    damaged, born, broken, dis-shelved

Ignoring truth for rose tinted shades

That brought escape from secrets inside

Did I let my soul get caught up in you

Casting glamour on reality

For another puff of freedom

Or

Was it true, is this real

I fell hard in platonic methods

Diving deeper into the us that was beauty

Did I let my soul get caught up in you?
