Picture Inside

Picture Inside

A Poem by Tenten

The picture in my head

                May not be your face

Because words create an image

Of a soul on the same tracks

                Bare feet wondering the streets

This picture inside of me

May not be what is reality

                Will it dissolve the dream

Eyes, Hands, Lips, Flesh

The body

                Is a shell to house

My companions

                On railroad tracks

                And those midnight streets

Because words granted the view

                Of a kindred soul

                Hope the dream won’t end

In the light of reality

You stir me so with this.
Because it is how people see you and formulat an opinion before they actually meet you.
Stirred and so ....
