Imagined Hands

Imagined Hands

A Poem by Tenten

Thinking of those hands I’ve never seen

I’m trying to find strength in their imagined image

Strong welcoming hands that embrace

That promise courage and offer strength

Strong welcoming hands that embrace

Giving freedom, providing a warm caress

Strong welcoming hands that embrace

Wiping away these tears, clearing negative smiles

Thinking of those hands I’ve never seen

I’m trying to find strength in their imagined image

To dry these tears, control breathing, wipe a cold nose clean

To wish, to create sweet dreams
