are you?

are you?

A Poem by Tenten

Is your smile white and straight?

Does your laugh warm the heart?

Are your hands large and comforting?

Is your voice deep and smooth?

Do your eyes pierce to a stranger’s soul?

Are your clothes falling off, three sizes too big?

Or do they stick to you flesh even if you don’t have hips?

What’s echoing off your walls?

Piano solos, guitar riffs, turntable beats,

Synthesizer flows, heart break themes, culture stacks

Who are you?

Beyond the physical confinement

Does your heart beat fast at thoughts of love?

Do words of possessiveness go steadily?

Would you share your heart beat?

Just questions I ask

Should the meeting become destiny…?

I like this! For some reason it reminds me of the Superman poem Lois lane (margot kidder) did when she was flying with him. I don't remember the words but it has that feel to it. Wonderment feel. Curious innocence like.
nice : )
