Blu

A two year old stray

That steals my affection

With ‘pet me’ eyes

And a snarl that lacks bite

My fuzzy little beast

That prances in a run

Jealous pet to any

That would take my focus off him

My little darling buddy

A surprise birthday gift

That loves to be my world

On cold days and tired nights

The galloping pup

This is very warm and snuggly... Blu has found a special home. Think about it.. this is the thought that I had as I read this... out of this whole world, there is one person that means everything to this "little darling buddy" and that is you. Awwww that is sweet. Lovely tribute to your dog. I have dogs too, wrote a poem about one that sadly passed away a few years back. They are so special and I feel that in your words here. They are our world. Lovely.
