day of familyA Poem by Tenten
Going too fast never halting, no moments breath Happy memories, memory making, constant drain Happy faces, truly belonging Too distracted to create grateful words Never breathing, nonstop, no brakes True mask, no face, my family smile It’s Christmas Eve the radio plays
Happy memories, memory making, constant drain Happy faces, truly belonging No distraction time to make The feel of not belonging A need to alone…lonely? Think time, true face seconds Somewhere ‘I love you’ escapes Being home when no property is owned
Slow fast finding median location flow Masking, true face hide, a childhood game OK with life, glad for familiarity Creation continuing median located Time to go join a party that’s only family Knowing this place and still with you in heart
Tired contend face becoming existence Time to slow, take a breath, pause this moment © 2008 TentenAuthor's Note
