faded to recognition

faded to recognition

A Poem by Tenten

Strength has faded over time

In weakness no shame can be found

A cure does not exist in past

Less than admirable for a child so young

Demons existed once, a time ago

As sun rises stars fade

As moon comes clouds darken

Demons turn to dust, ash, coal

Facing future images the lurking past

Hinders now only in silent nights

Burst away by the flame of memoires

On sleight of kind faces, sweet hearts

Those for a long while known to the soul

Recent knowledge of the conscious

Proudly declared eternity beyond life
