Easy Smile

Easy Smile

A Poem by Tenten

He’s got an easy smile

These day to day problems won’t reach his heart

All he needs

Is that beer in his hand

Good food in his belly

A good car to detail

And a brush for that vanity hair

He’s got an easy smile

The open highway sense flows from his every pore

In that broken leather jacket

Looking for the next concert ticket

He’s got the free bird sense

Chained down by responsibility

          Those family social expectations

That he disregards a good deal moment

That same free fall sense

That flows through me, myself, and I in a different style
