meet these eyes?

meet these eyes?

A Poem by Tenten

Would you meet these eyes?

After a year of undesired silence

Time ticks by slowly

Longing for your love, your words

There have been spoken truths

Whispered lies of commonality

There has been ‘love’, falling hard

Too fast

That you are unaware of

A thieving man by worded method

A trickster woman by music notes and smiles

So much to say for your ears, your soul

But you are not here so these words leave

In a murmured day light prayer
