worded emotionA Poem by Tenten
Depicting these true emotions Into blunt word statements Lacking in between the lines messages Is far from creator specialty It’s hard to say ‘I’m wondering’ ‘I’m interested’ ‘I might like you more than I should’ In all honesty these words Come from a person naturally uncomfortable In romantic situations, matters of the heart Residing words stir reaction Of making lust and maybe More, possibility of two to one Hiding in these letters A writers terrifying truth of ‘I want more’ ‘I am afraid’ ‘This could be right’ Distance shows an aged face Passively, reality is allotted the thieving right To demolish hope of what could be As fear dwells, seemingly endless In the belly of a hopeless twisted romantic.
