Cemetery Trees

Cemetery Trees

A Poem by Tenten

Cemetery Trees

Fertilized by the dead

Underworld strength

To consume and remove

Stone testaments, shaped reminders

Of lives attempting life

Unknowingly tempting death

White bark as bloodless flesh

Crooked arms bent to embrace

Late to bloom quick to shed

Spring leaf bearing hope

Cemetery tress a reminder

 To past and fate
