Words for You

Words for You

A Poem by Tenten

I’ve got words to write for you

I’ve got homework I need to do

I’ve got truths that haven’t been said

I’ve got papers waiting to be filled

I’ve got you on my mind

I’ve forgotten the time

I see your letters and my heart gets twisted

I look at your words and my mind dances

I stare at an image of a soul I don’t know

I gaze to the future that I shall never behold

I glimpse a maybe and hold on too tight

I observe too close what might not be there

I’ve got words to write for you

I’ve got homework I need to do

I’ve got truths that haven’t been said

I’ve got papers waiting to be filled

I’ve got you on my mind

I’ve forgotten the time

I get caught up in between the lines

I forget to see what’s right there

I lose myself to the inside play

I drop the sense of reality

I never take notice of the obvious

I need blunt words to get through the day

I’ve got words to write for you

I’ve got homework I need to do

I’ve got truths that haven’t been said

I’ve got papers waiting to be filled

I’ve got you on my mind

I’ve forgotten the time

I have secrets that create disgust

I can hurt you bad

I have a liar’s mouth

I posses a w****s tongue

I don’t want you to ever trust me

I can break you with a smile

I like this one... You can feel your emotions and they are expressed very well.... I loved your repitition... Great Job...

Easy and hard at the end. I like the repeat stanza you do. I get this image of someone that has to do real life things but gets stuck in the world of writing.
...and is that longing I see in this?
It's pretty.
