I'll Hurt You

I'll Hurt You

A Poem by Tenten

I will hurt you with this fickle heart

Unintentionally

If I leave will the pain be less

Selfish person by nature

I couldn’t be so cruel

To the mirror reflection

You aren’t breath

Just warm dream hands

I’ve been comfortable in

But I’ve caused you pain

That is my greatest shame

Only to be by your side

I’ve betrayed you…

My words…they can be honesty

My heart is the greatest liar

A creation to birth pain

You’ll never understand

I can appreciate that, it only means

More pain to this soul

I’m growing to care for

More than I once believed

I hurt you with the fickle heart

And have no right to ask forgiveness

Unspoken words linger in the air
