The Dead's Path

The Dead's Path

A Poem by Tenten

Lead the way for the dead.

In your best black

Tear trekked sad eyes

Windy day trail

Let the living follow

Decorated over priced boxes

Housing the departed love

A preserved memory

In chemicals and make up

Covered by earth in passing moments

A stone the only gratification

Of once existence in

The barren wasted land

The dead are laid to rest
