Doll Eyes

You say you’re not alright

With a smile on your face

And I feel as if I’ve hurt you

Created immense pain in your heart

You play and mask and it forms tears

They drip from beneath un-matching porcelain

You say you’re not alright

With a smile on your face

And all I want to do

Is hold you

Tell you, you are safe

Here in my arms
