Told You She's the BuyerA Poem by Tenten
Told you she was a buyer How is it to be the w***e? The door left open to peeking eyes Did she cover your body before she left? Did she say I love you in that mocking tone? Don’t try and remember her name Don’t walk out fast, covered in a sheet Hoping to catch that one last glimpse Met her before today did ya? We all have Back when rainbows meant a pot of gold When the sunshine meant a good day Those days snow fall meant a pure world Met her before today did ya? She broke your heart a second ago She kissed your hands a minute before Don’t move to follow her Cutting your way through tangled words ‘I’ll hurt you’ ‘I love you’ ‘take me’ Those repetitive statements that equal veins Leading to a sensitivity of majik rekindle To burning peir once upon a time you’ve been tossed to The door’s closing, you don’t know those eyes But they’ll promise new time surprises Will this one pay with a thank you laugh
