You Hurt Her

You Hurt Her

A Poem by Tenten

You hurt her, you caused her pain

You made her want to cry

You make her hate that mirror

You broke her heart

You shattered her trust

Like anyone, you should’ve known

Beneath that mask of anger

That trickster artwork hid

The girl that never cried

The child that got left behind

By mother, by father, by sister

By family eyes

You hurt her, you caused her pain

You made her want to cry

You make her hate that mirror

You broke her heart

You shattered her trust

Realizing her pain, I despise you

You hurt her, you hurt me

But you hurt her

With this growing distance

Knowing my lack of skill

Does not allow for the

Proper healing of her soul

You hurt her, you caused her pain

You made her want to cry

You make her hate that mirror

You broke her heart

You shattered her trust

But you’ll forget you will move on

The memoires will die,

You’ll feel no burden, no pain

Kiss my hand to you in passing

Set flame to your eyes in retribution

A broken trust to promise eternity

You hurt her...me…us

But you will never see

Do...did you even care?
