For Her I Will

For Her I Will

A Poem by Tenten
"

to the Great Mother

"

For her I’ll grant my life

For her I’ll stay on my knees

For her I’ll give this soul

For her I’ll create

For her…she need only ask

Anything I have I’ll give

For her, she is my everything

She heard me scream

She saw my tears

She knows the fruitless feeling

She held my hands

She warmed my bed

She promised hope in pomegranate seeds

For her I’ll grant my life

For her I’ll stay on my knees

For her I’ll give this soul

For her I’ll create

For her…she need only ask

Anything I have I’ll give

For her, she is my everything

She will not play that fate will be kind

She will not say I’m only yours

She will not charge for her love

She keeps the lust at bay

Feeds this consuming need

She will not bloom under my lips

Only to my hands and cress

For her I’ll grant my life

For her I’ll stay on my knees

For her I’ll give this soul

For her I’ll create

For her…she need only ask

Anything I have I’ll give

For her, she is my everything

The broken devotion I hold

The desolate eyes of a tired soul

The last breath in a writer’s essence

I give to her

With a grateful smile, that she caught

This dying fire

Only for her I’ll grant my life

Only for her I’ll stay on my knees

Only for her I’ll give this soul

Only for her I’ll create

Only for her…she need only ask

Anything I have I’ll give

Only for her, she is my everything
