Chant

Chant

A Poem by Tenten

Mother hear this song I sing

Take this sorrow far from me

And to you I will be kind

Even as the sunlight beats

Papa hear these words I pray

Take this sorrow from my eyes

And to you I will be kind

Even in the moonlit times

Sisters, Brothers hear my call

Take the sorrow from our eyes

Let it known we are not lone

That death is not the only wall

To you my words shall float true

As the tide rises high

Drown out the tearing mind

Of our loss in this spring time
