Washing After Death

Washing After Death

A Poem by Tenten

I got to wash death from me

Get her out of my eyes

Wash his scent from my gear

Got to get Death off me

Darken my days

Eclipsing shadows at night

Draining will to breathe

I got to wash death from me

And hope her kiss departing

Won’t leave that disfiguring

No need for breath scar
