She Got Me

She Got Me

A Poem by Tenten

She got me hook line and sink her

          That's not right... I switch

To make the situation feel appropriate

          But what about love....LIKE

          Is Inappropriate

          Don't know?...neither do I

          But then we change love...LIKE

          To fit our interpretation

Either way, she got me

Good

I figured it out though

Away from her, my heart doesn't strive

Doesn't hurt, or yearn, or do much else

          For that matter

          But...

I'm spared the unrequited harm love can cause

          ....Like can cause

It's not love, could turn to be

If I grew balls and said Something!

But seriously, slow it down

Away from her, this could fade

          I'm ok with that

          I value friendship much more

          Than that desired kiss

          I'm going to cap this

          Store it for another day

When there's a chance I'll have better aim

We know I'm weak, but she is

That untouchable perfection
