winter leaves

winter leaves

A Poem by Tenten

Winter leaves

          that survive

          the crush of

          purifying snow

Into spring time life

          of cloudy days

          wind blown moments

          whispered wails

Missing deep green

          frozen brown tones

          spotted with

          eaten nips

Winter leaves

Taped in journals

Kept as memories

          safe keeps of time
